Potts Add B1 to Satisfy Demand

Potts Printers have announced the purchase of a new B1 MAN Roland 706LV (6 colour with coater) press that will complement the present extensive range of commercial and packaging print services the firm currently offers.

The B1 investment has been driven by existing client demands and the future planned, strategic business development of the fast-growing company.

Shaun Currie, Managing Director, says "The purchase will enhance our strong competitive edge in the UK B2B, commercial and packaging markets."

The new press purchase will also coincide with Potts’ increased in-house finishing capabilities and the planned move to new purpose built premises, doubling the size of the company.

Potts currently supply commercial and packaging print to many local, national and European blue-chip companies. They are also one of only a handful of UK printing companies to hold ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 accreditations.

Established in 1875, Potts employs 105 staff at their North Shields headquarters. The firm continues to grow year on year, and is looking to exceed their target of GBP15m by 2010.
