New Signature for Potts
Leading UK print company Potts recently purchased a Signature folder-gluer from Cava UK, taking their investment in capital equipment for this year to over GBP£3m.
The new Signature high speed line was installed during October and will produce straight line, 4 and 6 corner, and crashlock glued folded cartons.
The investment adds to the B1 6 colour press and B1 die cutting equipment installed at Potts’ new print and packaging production headquarters based in Cramlington, Northumberland.
Potts’ Finishing Manager Claire Taylor said of the new installation: "The folder gluer gives us complete in-house control for gluing all types of folded cartons, CD wallets and bespoke packaging. The Signature is a great fit for our client’s needs, and we can now also offer trade finishing."

The investment does not stop there either, as the company is currently in negotiations to purchase further commercial and packaging equipment to be installed later this year.
Potts is also re-branding with a new logo, website and company profile being launched to coincide with the move.
