Potts Kick Into Action for Sunshine Fund
The sun has come out for the second year running for Cramlington based printing firm Potts who have helped raise nearly £31, 500 for North East children’s charity the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund at their Celebrity Question of Sport event.
Potts were the headline supporter for the for the Sunshine Fund Celebrity Question of Sport event along with ITPS, which this year was held at the Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel. The money that was raised will go towards buying special equipment for sick and disabled children in the North East.
Mark Devine, Commercial Director at Potts said: "We have shown our support to the Sunshine fund for a second year because we believe it is such a fantastic charity that helps so many disabled children in the North East, we had a great night at the Question of Sport event last year so this encouraged us to support the cause again."

The ’Question of Sport Quiz’ ran throughout the night with various sporting themed prizes on offer for the winning tables. There were also special raffle and auction prizes and to complete the hat-trick every table if requested had its own sporting celebrity guest.
Potts began as a family run business more than 130 years ago in North Shields, and is now one of the most progressive UK print companies. It has recently moved premises to Cramlington as part of a £4m investment which has increased its capabilities in both the commercial print sector and growing demand from the packaging markets.
